Antique Tribal Weaving Textile Oriental Rug Horse Trapping Cover

This unusual rarity features all vegetal palette with combined weaving techniques: plain or flat with piled accents/border/rosettes and crewel embroidery.  It is entirely wool with the main body measuring app. 54" x 56" and woven in faded/pale yellow and indigo.  The piled borders and rosettes are in red, blue and green and the long tassels (add 5" to length) are multi-colored with significant wear and loss.  Each "arm" at the top measures app. 21" x 16" and you will note some wear areas as well as staining.  Overall, the fabric retains strength/integrity and there are no signs of insect damage or holes.
