You can keep the Venus Flytrap indoors over winter from December until the end of February in last 3 months. Move your plant to the coldest room in the house to slow the rate of growth as possible. I experimented with the Venus Flytrap to put the plant in the refrigerator for 3 months of Winter Dormancy from December until the end of February. The truth is the plant still died because it was too cold. Not a good idea to put in the fridge it’s not going survive. It’s better just to keep your plant above 32 degrees Fahrenheit and 0 degrees Celsius in the coldest window in your house and it should do very well. That is how I kept my Venus Flytrap alive for more than 3 years without any issues and it’s so much simpler. Just leave your plant alone in the cold window. Just trust me. Most other sellers won’t tell you the truth. Only care about selling as much as much Venus Flytraps for profit as they can. Other sellers only care about making money is more important than the human being. It’s funny how most seller talk about how important is their 5 stars customer services without much improvements in the last 3 years.
